Als één van de twee belangrijkste pijlers van het artistieke project van Bozar, wordt het muziekseizoenontwikkeld in het hart van een multidisciplinair en crossdisciplinair huis en draagt zo rechtstreeks bij tot de unieke identiteit van Bozar in Europa. Bozar Music biedt een programmatie waarvan de kracht ligt in de combinatie van gevestigde artiesten en jonge muzikanten, repertoire en hedendaagse creatie, grote sterren en nieuwe ontdekkingen.Bozar Music ontwikkelt en implementeert een transversaal bemiddelings
- en educatieprogramma dat inclusie bevordert, de verschillende assen van zijn programmatie integreert en gericht is op doelgroepen.
In de loop van de 157 seizoenen is het muzikale project dat Bozar Music voorstelt sterk verrijkt. Aanvankelijk uitsluitend klassiek, presenteert het seizoen nu een grote verscheidenheid aan stijlen en genres. Sinds 2002, bij de oprichting van Bozar Music, worden oude muziek, klassieke muziek, hedendaagse muziek, jazz, electro en ‘global’gepresenteerd in de verschillende zalen in en rond het Paleis voor Schone Kunsten.
In overleg met de CEO & Artistic Director en onder toezicht van de Director Music ben je verantwoordelijk voor de programmatie, de coördinatie en de supervisie van concerten klassieke muziek van Bozar met als doel een coherent en aantrekkelijk artistiek programmeringsseizoen te verwezenlijken.
- Je werkt samen met de CEO & Artistic Director en de Director Music met betrekking tot het uitstippelen van een artistieke visie op (middel) lange termijn met als doel vernieuwing te brengen in de programmatie klassieke muziek, zoals bijvoorbeeld hedendaagse klassieke muziek en projecten die een kruisbestuiving zoeken tussen repertoires en muziekgenres. Je stelt nieuwe concepten voor en werkt deze verder uit
- Je staat in voor de programmatie van de belangrijke concerten binnen de rekening houdend met de artistieke strategie. Je programmeert de klassieke concerten, binnen de beoogde standaardreeksen en/of complementair aan de projecten, die een impact hebben op de uitstraling van het huis en een meerwaarde betekenen voor de gecibleerde doelgroepen.
- Je stuurt de programmator Klassieke Muziek aan en adviseert hem/haar bij het verwezenlijken van het seizoensprogramma op zowel artistiek, technisch en financieel vlak
- Je ondersteunt de Director Music in de concrete organisatie en coördinatie van het departement, je vervangt hem tijdens afwezigheden en/of vertegenwoordigt hem bij interne en externe vergaderingen
- Als lid van de Board Music, geef je input vanuit artistieke en financiële overwegingen en publiekswerking
- Je volgt de ontwikkelingen in je vakgebied van nabij. Je ontwikkelt en bouwt een netwerk van internationale en transversale contacten in de culturele sector verder uit
**Jouw Profiel**
- Je beschikt over een opleiding als musicoloog of in een artistieke richting, in combinatie met een uitstekende kennis van klassieke muziek en een brede vernieuwende kijk op programmatie.
- Je hebt bij voorkeur ten minste 8 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie
- Je hebt voldoende talenkennis in het Engels, als ook Frans of Nederlands, of je bent bereid een intensieve cursus te volgen om aan de taalvereisten te voldoen
- Je bent goed georganiseerd, je weet prioriteiten te legen en bent stressbestendig.
- Je hebt ervaring met budgetbeheer en onderhandelingen
- Je bent een pro-actieve peoplemanager
- Je bent een nieuwsgierige netwerker met internationale contacten
