Als ALM-analist helpt u onze teams bij het gebruik en de ontwikkeling van financiële, wiskundige en 'klantgedrags' modellen om het evenwicht te bewaren tussen de passiva (geld van onze klanten, bijvoorbeeld spaarrekeningen) en de activa (bijvoorbeeld verstrekte leningen) van de bank, maar ook van de Organisme voor de Financiering van Pensioenen (OFP) voor werknemers van Belfius Bank. U heeft invloed op de rente
- en liquiditeitsrisicobeheersmodellen van de bank en op de commerciële strategieën met betrekking tot de rente en liquiditeit van de bank. U heeft ook invloed op de ALM-beslissingen in het financiële beheer (Asset Allocation) van pensioenfondsen (OFP).

**De job in een notendop**

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het gebruik en het onderhoud van bepaalde bestaande ALM-modellen en draagt bij aan het onderzoek en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe modellen en tools voor een steeds beter ALM-beheer en om in lijn te blijven met de ontwikkeling van de financiële markten en het gedrag van klanten. Je belangrijkste taak is om ons team te helpen in het gebied van data science en AI door het verkennen van nieuwe gegevens en de ontwikkeling van AI-tools om onze klanten beter te begrijpen, evenals het onderhoud en de ontwikkeling van onze wiskundige en financiële modellen, zowel voor het ALM-gedeelte als voor onze OFP-opvolging.

Je team bestaat uit burgerlijke, financiële ingenieurs en wiskundigen. Jouw rol hierin is om nieuwe kennis, ideeën aan te brengen en te helpen bij het beheer van het dagelijkse ALM-beheer van de bank en de OFP.

Een typische werkdag als ALM-analist bestaat bijvoorbeeld uit het programmeren in python (implementatie in python van bestaande tools in VBA-versie en nieuwe modellen), evenals het verkennen (SQL) van de vele beschikbare gegevens bij Belfius (bijvoorbeeld Sandbox) om het klantgedrag te analyseren. Er zullen ook informatiedeelname en brainstormsessies zijn met de ALM-, Risk-, ICM (bijvoorbeeld boekhouding), dealingroom-, data
- en AI-teams en ook de PBR- en WEP-business. Op sommige dagen heeft u leersessies (Sharing is Caring) en informatiesessies (wekelijkse bijeenkomst). U moet ook bijdragen aan de voorbereiding van presentaties voor bepaalde vergaderingen en in het bijzonder voor het ALCo (Asset-Liability Committee) - zowel presentaties maken als zelf presenteren voor het ALCo.

**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**

Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. We zoeken vooral een straffe persoonlijkheid met een learning mindset.

Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als:

- je een diploma hebt in finance en/of wiskunde en/of actuariële wetenschappen en/of een eerste werkervaring hebt
- je interesse hebt in data science en programmeren (Python of andere talen)
- je graag in teamverband werkt
- je van innovatie houdt en het ontwikkelen van nieuwe ideeën.

Je scoort extra als:

- je tweetalig bent (Nederlands/Frans)
- je goede kennis hebt van het Python-programmeerprogramma
- je kennis hebt van ALM in verzekeringen in het kader van pensioenfondsen.
