**Your mission**
The Communication Specialist manages communication projects in collaboration with the business for which he or she takes full responsibility and which he or she carries out from A to Z in such a way as to support the understanding, the knowledge and the connection with the company's strategy and people.
You develop the overall communications plan for specific projects and provides strategic advice on the content, timing and form of communications;

**Your tasks**
- You serve as a liaison between HR & the business and are responsible for defining & implementing impactful actions & experiences to increase & boost employee centricity & engagement;
- Together with the internal communication manager, you define an engaging & impactful employee experience-communication strategy
- Your take up a role in the HR & Communication projects. You are responsable for the communication on the HR & Communication projects as part of the change management. This means you co-create with the projectteam, the stakeholder analysis and the communication plan, the selection of the communication channels and the concrete roll-out of the plan.
- To establish a good feedback loop on the employee experience you support the coordination of the MyEDF (=the EDF Group’s annual employee survey) campaign and can set-up other employee experience surveys when required.
- You support the HR teams with their recurring or ad-hoc communciations towards our employees, you define the strategy and the channels and approve the final com based on input from the different teams. (including review HSE messages)
- You organise internal and external events that help to increase staff commitment and the company's reputation (inaugurations, open days, residents' meetings, Lunch & Learn, Xmas drinks, Strategic events, seminars, etc.).
- You develop communication materials (student packs, brochures, corporate presentations, videos, animations, etc.).

**Your profile**

**Qualifications and Knowledge**:

- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the energy sector is essential.

**Communication Skills**:

- You should have the ability to integrate and synthesize campaign and corporate issues, communicating them in a language tailored to specific target audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative, with proficiency in copywriting being a must.
- Familiarity with various communication methods and online editorial practices is essential, as is experience with basic website content management.
- Being fluent in French and Dutch is essential. Additionally, good command over English, both in writing and speech, is crucial.

**Technical Proficiency**:

- A knowledge of software like Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc., will be considered a significant asset.

**Professional Attributes**:

- Project management skills are crucial, and the ability to manage time efficiently, work under pressure, and pay meticulous attention to detail is a must.
- The role demands discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality, especially when connecting with all stakeholders to estimate the tone of voice in sensitive HR topics.
- Flexibility is required, both in approach and work schedule. You should be willing to work evenings and weekends, in alignment with event schedules.
