Who you are
We offer you a 12 to 16 weeks internship in the People & Culture (HR) department at the leading Home furnishing company in the world We will give you the chance to learn and to develop in HR by being part of the daily life of a unit. You can count a strong mentorship and you will be involved in project close at heart.
The internship would take place between March
- June 2023.
Enrolled in a Belgian University or HEC in the Faculty of HR Management or Psychology.
As a person and future colleague, you are passionate about people. You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working with operational tasks in a dynamic and changing environment.
You are confident and positive, and you like to find solutions. Your sense of service has been proven and you will support the co-workers and managers of the unit to which you are attached.
Your language skills, your thoroughness and your ability to carry out actions from A to Z will be essential for the position of People & Culture Administrator Intern for the Service Office.
**Responsibilities**:
You will work with the unit's People & Culture Manager to:
- Provide support in the recruitment and hiring process,
- Participate fully in the onboarding process of new co-worker,
- Lead the preparation of the bi-monthly unit meeting,
- You will be in charge of the follow-up of the implementation of our telework agreement,
- Support the preparation and follow-up of the Sunday openings of our nearest store,
- Update our organisation chart,
- Take part in our Welcome Home project and act as a link between the participants and the relevant associations (project in which we offer our co-workers the opportunity to volunteer during their working hours to help two shelters in Brussels. This project is part of our commitment to support access to decent housing for vulnerable people),
- Take part in the internal communication in the unit,
- Provide other support to the P&C Manager when needed,
