In the spirit of continued growth, we are currently looking for a **Project Director Biometrics & MSR.**

As Project Director you will support and participate in the **business development** and **marketing processes and activities** using your **scientific and operational** knowledge and experience to develop innovative plans and approaches within the area of expertise. Your goal is to drive business development specifically for our **fast**-**growing** **Biometrics and MSR team**. Overall you will demonstrate the ability to monitor and evaluate industry and competitor initiatives, changes in policy and technology trends that impact the industry and ultimately the client.

Your daily activities will include:
1. Business Development activities with a focus on Biometrics and MSR.
- Support the **Business Development** team with suitable approaches to increase direct client focus
- Actively participate in **prospective client meetings**, capability meetings, **BID defense meetings** and conferences/trade shows
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team and Business Development Manager to ensure preparation of the BID defense meeting per the client’s expectations and scope of the project
- Help to prepare and present the scientific/medical aspects of the BID defense presentation
- Participate and provide guidance in the **development of study budgets** and responses to the **Request for Information** (RFI) and **Request for Proposal** (RFP) issued by the client
- Support **marketing** in the development of the annual conference / trade shows schedule and coordinate conference / trade show attendance for shows that fall outside of marketing oversight but in scope of business development
- Support marketing in the development of abstracts, posters, articles, flyers, presentations, social media posts.
- Represent the company at public and industry functions
- Facilitate client, cross-departmental work and communication

2. Support of Project Execution
- Liaises with Project Manager on project related matters
- Supports the cross-functional team with any issue needed to move the study or program forward
- Facilitates sponsor, cross-departmental work and communication

3. Client Customer Service
- Attend client **kick off meeting** and discussions with client (agenda driven) to help establish client expectations for project or program delivery, communication, and client specific metrics
- Regular **communication** with the key clients to ensure **satisfaction**:

- Work with the cross-functional team to address any issues raised by the client
- In support of and in collaboration with the cross-functional team, pro-actively communicate with the client ensuring the client has all the information required on **project progress** and **status** (risk analyses, contingency plans, significant changes of any kind, etc.); provide pro-active decisions /solutions and how the project or program objectives are being, or should be, achieved

4. Other
- Provide **strategic direction** in assessment and implementation of process improvements, new technologies and innovations in order to increase the quality of services provided by the departments within the area of expertise
- You will report to the Head of Business Development and Support

**Qualifications** What do you need to be successful?**
- Minimum of 4-year University / College degree in science area
- Extensive experience in biometrics and MSR**,** **CRO**, **pharmaceutical** or **biotechnology** environment, ideally in early and late phase clinical projects. A minimum of 5 years of prior **Project Management** (or similar) experience in clinical research.
- General understanding of the pharmaceutical industry / experience in the Clinical Research industry
- Thorough knowledge of **drug development** process and **GCP-ICH** is required
- Ability to think **strategically**, both long and short term, to meet corporate business needs
- Strong **organizational** skills to cope with **multi-tasking** which result in a **goal-oriented** approach without losing the **attention to details**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in **English**. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, constructive and professional attitude towards colleagues, team members and Clients
