- Excellent communicator with the ability to write and present clearly, adapting a message to varied audiences.

**About the job**: The Centers of Excellence (COE) organization is the strategic hub within Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP), providing issue and functional expertise, horizon-scanning for the policy issues affecting our business and ensuring a central global perspective on these, and developing strategies and positions for Google’s regulatory and political engagement. Within COE, the Privacy, Safety, and Security (PSS) COE is responsible for this mission in relation to privacy, security, children's safety, government access to data, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with these issues.

As a member of the team, you will provide policy expertise on a range of issues relating to privacy matters in Europe. You will shape Google’s approach to diverse policy topics such as AI privacy, children's privacy, international data flows, privacy-enhancing technologies, and consent.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shape Google’s approach to diverse public policy topics such AI privacy, children's privacy, international data flows, privacy-enhancing technologies, and consent.
- Partner with cross-functional and local teammates to drive our holistic privacy strategy in Europe.
- Monitor, develop strategy, and engage with stakeholders on legislative, regulatory, and policy initiatives.
- Develop company-wide positions, narratives, collateral, and programming.
- Represent Government Affairs and Public Policy team with policymakers, civil society, and regulators. Participate in stakeholder forums, working groups, and industry forums, including travel to a variety of member states when needed.
