Operations Manager

**De functie**:
Als Operations Manager draag je de eindverantwoordelijkheid om de sampling teams operationeel te leiden. In deze rol werk je rond 3 belangrijke pijlers: people, quality & operations.
- People
- Coacht en motiveert de medewerkers om vooropgestelde resultaten te bereiken.
- Bevordert een goede samenwerking zowel binnen als buiten het team.
- Kijkt er op toe dat opdrachtverdelingen talentgericht zijn en dat medewerkers focus houden.
- Bouwt aan een feedbackcultuur in de teams; schept een veilige omgeving om open en constructief feedback te geven aan elkaar.
- Organiseert samenwerkingsgesprekken met alle medewerkers.
- Implementeert en stuurt op KPI’s.
- Operations
- Garandeert dat projecten tijdig en kwalitatief worden opgeleverd door dagelijkse opvolging van de werkplanning.
- Opereert zelfstandig, in lijn met doelstellingen, management systemen, beleid en budget.
- Stemt indien nodig af met manager en / of stakeholders.
- Is aanspreekpunt voor het team en klanten inzake calamiteiten op de werven.
- Implementeert en realiseert actieplannen om de operationele efficiëntie te verhogen.
- Zet sterk in op digitalisatie van processen.
- Quality
- Borgt de kwaliteits
- en veiligheidsnormen.
- Streeft naar kwaliteitsverbetering, initieert verbetervoorstellen.
- Volgt klachten op.
- Blijft op de hoogte van ontwikkelingen in wet
- en regelgeving, ontwikkeling van nieuwe methoden en neemt deel aan overleg in sectorverenigingen.
**Het profiel**:
- Je blinkt uit in leiderschap en het optimaliseren en realiseren van uitstekende dienstverlening, processen en teamprestaties.
- Je realiseert resultaten door analytisch vermogen, sturend optreden en het onderkennen en ontwikkelen van talenten en competenties van medewerkers (minstens 3 jaar ervaring in het coachen, leiden en/of coördineren van een team).
- Je lost een complex geheel van praktische vraagstukken op, waarvoor kennis, analyse en overzicht nodig zijn, bijv. inzake beleid, processen, projectplan, business case, implementatie.
- Je adviseert over alternatieven.
- Je ontwikkelt en voert een eigen jaarplan en budget uit en opereert zelfstandig.
- Je hebt een Master in een wetenschappelijke richting (industriële wetenschappen, chemie,) of een master (bijv. logistiek/maritiem management, handelswetenschappen, ) met een sterke interesse voor wetenschappen.
