**Situering van de functie**
- De divisie Meterbeheer maakt deel uit van het departement Klantenwerken. Binnen Meterbeheer worden 2 diensten onderscheiden: ‘Projecten en Processen’ en ‘Operations’.
De functie van business analyst situeert zich binnen de dienst Projecten en Processen. Deze dienst beheert alle projecten en is ook verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten van nieuwe processen en de ondersteuning bij het analyseren en optimaliseren van de bestaande bedrijfsprocessen binnen Meterbeheer.
Daarnaast zal je focus liggen bij het Sector Meter Operating Center (SMOC). SMOC is binnen de samenwerking _Digitale Watermeter_ tussen Farys, De Watergroep en Pidpa verantwoordelijk voor alle gemeenschappelijke operationele taken in de domeinen installatie, meterketting en alarmen.**Functie**
- 50% van je taken bevinden zich binnen de dienst projecten en processen.
- Je staat mee in voor algemene projectondersteuning waarbij je support geeft aan de projectleider.
- Je ontwerpt en implementeert (al dan niet project gedreven) nieuwe businessprocessen om efficiëntie en effectiviteit te verhogen. Daarnaast denk je ook mee in nieuwe processen voor de uitvoering van de nieuwe ‘Slimme Meter’-activiteiten, Na afronding van projecten organiseer je de (proces)handover naar de teams van operationeel meterbeheer en opnamebeheer.
- Je monitort de prestaties van geïmplementeerde processen en stuurt bij waar nodig.
- Je ondersteunt de teams van operationeel meterbeheer en opnamebeheer in het analyseren van bestaande bedrijfsprocessen en het identificeren van verbeterpunten. Je identificeert hierbij kansen om deze processen efficiënter, effectiever of klantgerichter te maken.
- Je maakt gebruik van statistische methoden en tools om data te analyseren en trends te identificeren. Je gebruikt je sterke analytische vaardigheden en kennis van statistieken om objectieve/statistisch relevante data-gedreven beslissingen te nemen en aanbevelingen naar het management te doen.
- Met jouw communicatieve sterktes weet je jouw bevindingen en aanbevelingen vlot in transparante rapporten en presentaties te vertalen.
- Vanuit de focus binnen meterbeheer op automatisatie en gezien het ‘data driven’ karakter van de digitale meter processen besteed je ook de nodige tijd aan het testen van ICT-oplossingen en de opmaak van het bijhorende testdesign.
- Je speelt eveneens een cruciale rol bij het structureren en borgen van bestaande kennis en ervaring binnen de divisie.
- Daarnaast zal je als expert digitale meterketting (DMK) voor 50% binnen het Sector Meter Operating Center (SMOC) ingezet worden.
- Samen met je collega expert-DMK word je ingezet op de sectoractiviteiten rond de digitale meterketting.
- Je houdt toezicht op en coördineert de dagelijkse werkzaamheden met betrekking tot de digitale meterketting. Indien nodig escaleer je naar externen.
- Jouw methodische aanpak en kritische manier van denken kan je ten volle toepassen in deze functie. Je duikt diep in de data die onze digitale meters genereren. Je analyseert patronen, identificeert risico's en draagt proactief oplossingen aan om de betrouwbaarheid en effectiviteit van onze diensten te verbeteren.
- Je bent continu op zoek naar manieren om onze processen en systemen rond DMK te verbeteren. Dit doe je door het evalueren van de huidige werkprocessen, het voorstellen van verbeteringen en het implementeren van nieuwe procedures en werkinstructies.
- Je ondersteunt ICT-oplossingen en test de werking hiervan.
- Je deelt je expertise binnen en buiten de organisatie. Je geeft technisch advies, organiseert trainingen en neemt deel aan overlegplatforms om best practices te delen en te ontwikkelen.
- Je maakt de nodige DMK-rapportage op en monitort deze van nabij.
- Aangezien de digitale watermeter en de uitrol ervan deel uitmaken van een sterk evoluerende markt, behoort het signaleren en detecteren van kansen/risico’s eveneens tot je takenpakket.
- Je stemt jouw communicatie flexibel, pragmatisch en empathisch af op de diverse bedrijfsculturen binnen de SMOC samenwerkingen. Je stemt op regelmatige basis af met interne en externe partners (SICT, STEC, IBM, L&G, Sagemcom,.).
**Profiel**
- Je beschikt over een masterdiploma.
- Je hebt ervaring in het monitoren van data. Ervaring met statistische software zoals SPSS, R, Python,is een troef.
