Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support the digital transformation of our Content Management Systems.
You will work together with a team of about 20 people in Belgium-Mechelen.
In this role, you will:
- Be part of an agile development team where the timely delivery of quality software is of paramount importance- Translate business requirements into technical and/or user stories by collaborating with end users, product owners, architects, domain experts and developers- Explain the analysis deliverables to the development team, substantiated with the necessary rationalization for your choices- Validate the business requirements on the delivered software- Take ownership of UAT and demo sessions to various stakeholders (business, management, etc.)- Focus on one running project and are involved in new initiatives- Master the jargon of the business and build up knowledge of the business. You get to know our users and how our software helps them work more efficiently- Build solid relationships with various stakeholders in the company to map information efficiently- Make the necessary analysis models based on requirements**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role- Fluently in Dutch and English- A technical background (preferably in software development)- Have knowledge of Content Management Systems- Are familiar with the conventions of traditional analysis methodologies and can combine them in an agile development context- Know the basic principles of testing and test automation- Open communicator who communicates in a respectful manner- Adopt a pro-active attitude to communicate about opportunities, risks and problems with the Product Owner, Project Manager and Architect- Understand the technicalities and limitations of software and can translate these to non-technical stakeholders- Can concretize abstractly and are willing to take ownership of parts of a project- You are the hub between Product Owner/Project Manager and the development team
