**This job in a nutshell**
As a Project/Portfolio Manager at BDO Belgium, you will spearhead and oversee multifaceted projects, with a primary focus on Mobility. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing action plans, strategizing communication, and executing comprehensive tasks.
What will you be doing?:
**Leading Overarching Projects**:
- Lead project teams, monitor action plans, devise communication strategies, and execute comprehensive tasks.
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams.
- Report and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure accountability for project operations and proactively address arising issues.
**Leading “The New BDO” Program**:
- Coordinate teams and align approaches to foster unified team behavior.
- Develop action plans and oversee their implementation and monitoring.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare quarterly reports on service trends, new project suggestions, and program progress.
**Providing Strategic Guidance**:
- Offer guidance on project management, timing, and methodologies to other project managers.
- Advise department heads, managers, and staff on program updates and interpretations.
- Prepare and steer the Project Initiation Document (PID) in collaboration with the Business - EXCO/COO.
- Track all projects within BDO (to be defined with EXCO/COO).
What do you bring to the table?:
- Previous experience in project portfolio management with a strong track record of independently leading projects.
- ** Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.**:
- Extensive knowledge in project monitoring.
- Hands-on approach, flexibility, strong communication, analytical skills, self-reliance, team player, customer-oriented, process-oriented.
