We are looking for a junior ambitious and driven individual to join the commercial finance team in Belgium as a **controlling analyst**. The role will report into the sales controller, and will also have a lot of exposure to other departments across the business and functions within the Benelux structure finance organization. We aspire to be true business partners and accurate and timely information is the basis for this. The controlling analyst is a key player in providing visibility of financials through the business, enabling better brand and customer performance understanding.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business partnering**
- Ongoing support to both retail and pharmacy channels to optimize reporting and drive efficiency
- Direct point of contact to our account managers in BE for effective control on claim and trade management, including leading problem solving when issues occur
- Lead training and onboarding for account managers or new joiners with support of the sales controller
**Trade management**
- Supporting the promotion investment and return analysis
- Understanding of the financial inputs and modelling for the contracts between Reckitt and our customers
- Ensure that reporting is aligned to the aforementioned promos and contracts, and that we have good visibility on transactions in the profit and loss statements
- Support sales team on claim management process, to reduce exposure and improve understanding
**Month end**
- Proactive approach to tasks, and good communication with controller and rest of team
- Maintain organized ways of working for balance sheet review and control
- Own the Customers’ P&L
**Who you are**:
- Strong interest in pursuing a commercial finance career
- Problem solving and results orientated mindset
- The ability to work well with people from different areas of the business through good communication skills (sales, accounting, trade marketing.)
- Embraces a can-do attitude to tasks, but also an entrepreneurial mind set to always work on improvements
- Autonomy and thirst for continuous learning
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and stay organized
- Strong Microsoft office skills - if you love MS Excel, you’re definitively one of us
- SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
- Power BI skills would be considered an asset
- Fluent in English; French/Dutch would be considered an advantage
