What to Expect
- The Business Sales Leader is responsible for developing the enterprise sales strategy in Belgium and Luxembourg, while leading a team that drives sales across SME, Large Corporate, and Operational Leasing companies. The business sales team will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with these clients and managing Tesla’s third-party vehicle leasing offerings for all corporate client types and sizes. The Business Sales Leader will report to the local Market Lead and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations and HQ business sales leadership. The Business Sales Leader is expected to build and develop a team necessary to execute on a winning sales strategy that will solidify Tesla’s place as the preferred EV OEM in the market, and drive repeat/new business.

What You’ll Do
- SME and Large Corporate Clients:

- Identify, develop and execute activities to develop the business sales strategy in your market; always championing a growth mindset.
- Meet all sales objectives to drive Tesla’s mission, including but not limited to driving new orders, developing and retaining new accounts, utilizing existing assets to drive sales (e.g. test drives) and working closely with clients to ensure excellent AR performance (e.g. timely payments and updates).
- Lead a team that has a “hunter” mentality, with high activity levels that stimulate demand.
- Own the relationship for corporate clients, short-term rental and taxi companies within Belgium and Luxembourg, educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings.
- Drive repeat business with existing and new corporations; pursue bulk deal opportunities wherever possible.
- Open company car policies and become the preferred EV OEM for corporate partners.
- Leverage existing leasing company relationships to grow sales within this segment
- Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs.

Operational Leasing Companies:

- Grow Tesla’s business with operational leasing companies.
- Own the relationship for Fleet Management Companies, Brokers and Operational Leasing Companies and be the primary local point of contact for Tesla’s preferred leasing partner(s).
- Create a competitive leasing landscape through excellent residual value management, service agreements, and through execution of a sound operating framework.
- Become the preferred EV OEM for all of the partners you manage.
- Establish an excellent operating framework, including management of contractual agreements, digital tools adoption, ownership management, and escalation handling with these customers.
- Manage the local relationship with our preferred partner.
- Develop a marketplace for brokers where possible and necessary.
- Meet sales objectives by driving new orders across client types, driving down delivery dwell, and enabling strong AR performance with clients to ensure timely payments for existing products and services.
- Actively collaborate with Tesla teams to leverage all Leasing Company relationships and provide coaching and training on Business-to-Business sales.

General Duties:

- Actively partner with the Market Leads to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of enterprise vehicle sales within Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Hire, develop, lead and motivate and retain a high performing and engaged sales team who are willing to experiment, learn, and innovate to drive results.
- Develop a culture of ongoing performance development and improvement across the team, supported by People functions
- Manage the overall corporate sales business plan by working cross-functionality. Facilitate team and partner meetings regularly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis.
- Use Tesla’s Customer Relation Management system and tools to log appointments, calls, test drives, contacts and meeting notes. Maintain a suite of accurate reports.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction.
- Champion best practices in your market, share learnings with other teams, and consistently lead by example
- Ensure Tesla’s brand management standards are being adhered to both at your locaton and in all external client meetings, across all mediums
