**Context**:
**Global Energy Market & Sales (GEMS)** is one of the Business Divisions of **ENGIE** group, with approximately 400 people (Sales, Trader, Risks, dedicated support functions : Back-Office, Middle Office & IT).

**GEMS** is active in energy market (Financial and physical commodity trading ) and provide following service to the group and external counterparties:

- Energy price hedging
- Asset optimization and risk management
- Portfolio management
- Market access

Within the **GEMS**, the **Business Platform Short-Term Power as a Service** (a.k.a. **BP SpaaS**) is responsible for the optimization of the Group’s assets in Europe: purchase contracts, physical assets & sales contracts. Its role is to ensure competitive energy for our customers while maximizing the value created, in a context of controlled risks.

Within the **Expertise Center Information System** (a.k.a. EC IS), **SpaaS IS** delivers added-value solution towards the **SPaaS** business-customers.

**Power Day Ahead IS team** (PDA IS) is part of **SPaaS IS,** specialized in software development for the preparation of asset optimization strategy, pricing and bidding.

**Role: Team Leader**

The main role of the Asset Optim IS Team Leader **is to ensure the team delivers regular consistent IS software increments on Asset Optimization businesses** consisting in bug fixes, enhancement on existing functions or new functionalities (small projects and/or new deal management functions). He is also the local point of contact of the users, representing the global team. For the first year, the main priority will be to define the target organization (location strategy, knowledge sharing) for the teams.

This role is fulfilled with particular attention and expectation on **robustness** (technical and functional), **quality** of the delivered software, **maintainability** **and** **performance of the delivered software.**

**Activities**
- **Resources management**:team operational management (internal + external consultants), team skill management and staffing, people development for Internal resources ;
- **Demand management**:put in place a team backlog, prioritized according to client needs, manage relationship with other IT teams and external clients (business and support functions), communicate status ;
- **Process management**:define, adapt and enforce team organization and methodology (including development best practices and ALM methodology) ;
- **Project management**:define suitable project organization, communication, functional and technical architecture proposal ;
- **Infrastructure management**:responsible for the proper run of the infrastructure. Making the necessary evolutions to answer business requirements ;

- Provide technical guidance and direction to the other developers as well as to the operational people ;
- Instill confidence in their ability to deliver high quality, secure and scalable products ;
**Responsibilities**

- Ensuring software delivery quality with a specific attention to production continuity and respect of the software development standard (ALM, coding best practice) ;
- Budget of the IT Teams ;
- Collaborate and align with GEMS IS teams (Infra, Archi, Digital, Security )
