**Global Innovation Project Portfolio Lead**

**Band: VI**

Reporting to GITEC Portfolio and Performance Manager

**_ Location:_** Global Headquarters GITEC, Leuven, Belgium

**Purpose of the Job**:
**Translate the commercial innovation strategy into processes and performance incentives. Drive the innovation portfolio & performance to deliver the strategy.**

The main activities include:

- Supply owner of Global commercial innovation process.
- Coordination of the Global teams (Commercial team, Logistics, Supply, Procurement, etc.). regarding project portfolio improvement and portfolio optimization (R&D portfolio, Innovation Delivery portfolio)
- Follow up on projects status and performance drivers with the zones.
- Communication of the innovation performance & lead the improvement of the performance, making proposals for the senior leadership team (SLT) and project owners.

**Lead the performance of the commercial innovation portfolio**:

- Build, Improve & Digitize commercial innovation processes to deliver the strategy.
- Build / Improve the incentives (KPI's, etc.) for the zones & Global Innovation teams.
- Analyze and drive the Global R&D commercial innovation portfolio (2-10 year out) in close collaboration with the GITEC technical teams and Global Commercial.
- Analyze, report & communicate the in-market innovation portfolio across all zones.
- Manage the business cycle with the Zone Innovation Portfolio Management and Project Leaders on the long
- (R&D) and the short term (in-market).
- Build the required reporting/ analysis for project portfolio (KPI's and take-ways) including gap analysis and action plan to close the gaps.
- Develop analyses, KPIs and reports for project portfolio performance for communication to the key stakeholders/senior management.
- Reporting and visibility for senior management (Global & Zone Directors, VP's & Chiefs) on the performance & action plans of the innovation portfolio.
- Coach Global and Zone Technical Innovation teams in the technical innovation process and best practices, provide trainings to Global/Zone teams. Coach the teams in how to pitch a innovation project to SLT (Consumer problems, business cases, DVF, etc.)
- Map and implement the required functionality in the governance systems.
- Drive continuous improvement of the processes, governance and digital systems used to manage the Commercial Innovation Portfolio.
- As the part of strategic plan to lead consolidation, validation of the content for annual workshops and events.

**Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**
- Finance, Economics, Engineering (University degree Level).
- Fluent English (written & spoken C2), other language skills constitute an asset.
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills, ability to manage strong partnerships working across different geographical areas and streams/departments.
- Ability to analyze and summarize to keep the focus on big picture & strategy while prioritizing actions for the teams & adapting fast to business changes.
- Strong project management skills, knowledge of Agile is considered as an additional benefit
- Critical, analytic thinking: The ability to identify issues from reports and datasets quickly & challenge the teams in the right way to improve
- Mindset: Autonomous individual with a strong can-do outward looking attitude that suggests and implements short
- and long-term changes through continuous improvement.
- Structured approach to manage the different scopes. Build visibility that drives action & lead the routines for different audiences.
- Technical knowledge inside the area of brewing and packaging / draft will be considered as a plus.
- Knowledge of software programs, ability to learn fast. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams). Advanced knowledge of Power BI will be considered as additional benefit.
