- This team is responsible for providing and advising higher management with financial insights to improve decision making, e.g. on investments, product innovations, budgets, opportunities, etc. Together, you lead & coordinate the budgeting process and strategic & financial projects._

In this role as FP&A FCF and Business planning Senior Controller (L8), you report directly to the Danone Belux Head of FP&A. You will be responsible for cash management, but also support the performance review process of the Belgian entity. You ensure a complete and qualitative delivery in time of the management reporting and contribute to the definition of the business objectives. You liaise with different teams (e.g. Finance, Operations, locally but also at Company Group level) and are the sparring partner for the business (management and the internal stakeholders of Danone).

Your key responsibilities include:

- **Budgeting and forecasting**: You support the budgeting process and the strategic planning, to edit the Belux budget and the financial forecasts. You coordinate the monthly closing process and follow up the financial results with regards to the budget in order to organize the activities of the company.
- **Cash Reporting**: You produce, analyze and report on financial information for the Belux entity (Working Capital, cash related KPI's, etc.), to perform financial & ad hoc analyses, and monitor the evolution of financial KPI's and important business drivers. Doing so, you provide on time the accurate and relevant information to the management, while taking ownership of the figures reported. One of your key task will be the semester cash landing (June-December).
- **Procedure definition**: You evaluate existing internal reporting processes and procedures and to recommend improvements, in order to manage the risks and to ensure compliance.
- **Business Acumen**: You have a general understanding of business principles and together with your manager, you develop an integrated view on the financial activities, based on a detailed interpretation of the business results, in order to help the (top) management in making thoughtful business decisions.
- **Improvement and Business development projects**: you lead projects related to the financial reporting processes, in order to ensure continuous improvement within divisional controlling and by doing so to optimize the financial support to the management.
- **Coaching and developing **1 FTE

About you
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

- A Master Degree in e.g. Economics, Business Engineering, Finance, etc. or equivalent through experience.
- At least 6 years of experience, within a financial department. Experience in business/commercial/operations/FP&A controlling is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Team player, demonstrating flexibility and proactivness.
- Experience with reporting tools is a plus.
- You are fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is an asset.
