**Company: POLITICO**
POLITICO is seeking an experienced Ad Operations Associate for our pioneering and growing media company, based in Brussels. The Advertising Operations team are the experts on the processes and systems that support the delivery of POLITICO’s digital advertising campaigns. The primary function is to fulfill sales orders in a deadline-driven and ever-changing environment. We are looking for a team player to understand our digital ad products and ad builder tools to support campaign executions and related projects.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Support Media Solutions team and others (production, events, product, etc.) in converting campaign objectives into practical tactics
- Ensure all advertising creatives follow ad policies and specifications
- Troubleshoot live issues
- Provide guidance to Campaign Managers in project delivery: benchmarks, answering clients’ technical questions, searching for new solutions if needed, building custom ad units, etc.
- Perform testing and QA on ad products and campaign materials
- Stage and monitor digital campaigns in Google Ad Manager (DFP), social media, Google Ads, and other platforms; provide performance analysis and insights
- Oversee and monitor the performance of ongoing campaigns to ensure proper execution and delivery
- Support the day-to-day operational needs of the sales organization
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Have a good understanding of both business needs and technology capabilities - plus be capable of translating that knowledge in plain terms
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and general familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and web languages (HTML, CSS, etc.)
- Prior experience with ad-tech/serving systems such as Google Ad Manager (DFP), equivalent ad server, programmatic, DMPs, paid media, and/or social ads
- Manage multiple deadline-driven tasks and comfortable with shifting priorities
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ability to work collaboratively with teams
- Past experience with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce, is a plus
- Prior experience at a media agency or digital publisher is preferred
- 2+ years of digital experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in advertising, data management, marketing, or another related field)
- Fluent English, written and spoken, and any other European language
