**Your Role**
- As part of a the Operational Metrics Platform project team, you will contribute, in a quality control aspect, to delivering new sets of data from source systems, testing the logic for their transformation and validate Back End reports or modifications to existing reports
- Understand the testing needs of the internal (eg CISO domain leads, internal audit) and external (eg regulators) clients in the CISO environment - specifically ensure that the testing outcome helps meet the Definition of Done for the work products.
- Digest and attain a high level understanding of the business solutions that are described to meet end users requirements created by the Solution Architects and Business Analysts
- Work with the Business Analysts to create and implement a Test Strategy & Approach (which will be incremented for new phases of the project.
- Translate business requirements, non-functional requirements & functional design into Test Requirements.
- Convert Test Requirements into Test Conditions, Test Data, Expected Results and group into to relevant Test Scenarios that can be repeatedly executed.
- You will execute & document the System Testing and facilitate end User Validation Testing as required.
- Work with developers to report test failures for investigation, fix and re-testing
- Where fixes are delivered you arrange for the System/User testing as appropriate
- If technical fixes are not possible, you will work with the users to determine if there are manual workarounds acceptable in the agreed timescales.
- You pay attention to having the right trade-off between quality, cost and timeliness when it comes to the appropriate amount of testing
**You must have**:
- 1-2+ years experience as a Test Analyst (or qualifying technology experience in education)
- Interest in the Cyber Security business domain
- Critical thinking skills (evaluate multiple options to settle on a solution)
- Flexibility to quickly adapt in case of unexpected change of priority
- Excellent communication skills (listening, writing and presenting) at all levels
- Knowledge of and a passion for Datamodelling, data warehousing & reporting
- Attention to detail especially documentation of Testing results vs. Expected results.
- Capacity to work autonomously and in close team collaboration
- Ability to assist with other project activities (outside of testing)
- Appetite for understanding the IT world as much as the Business world

- **Awareness of Microsoft Power BI and practical experience in using SQL to manipulate and join data.**:
- **Awareness of Cyber Security control frameworks (eg NIST)
