You will be part of the Product & Service design chapter, a team at the heart of the brand-new Design chapter area alongside UX, UI, Business & Content design. Your responsibilities as a chapter owner in Product and Service design will be two-fold:
**As a chapter owner, you**:
- Are responsible for the general career development and development of the competences of your chapter.
- Develop and evaluate the performance of your chapter members, based upon 360° feedback.
- Support and monitor the development plans and objectives of chapter members.
- Act as a reference in your field and help to solve problems.
- Establish processes for interaction and knowledge sharing among the people of your chapter, in collaboration with the other business and service design chapter owners.
- Establish an atmosphere of trust to encourage experimentation, learning, and motivation to achieve goals.
- define professional standards and methodology, key trends and innovation practices in the design sector for your chapter.
- Coordinate the different chapter members as well as the coordination between the squads, in collaboration with the design chapter area lead.
- Will source the different tribes with the needed design expertise and ressources, can be internally or externally.
**As a Product & Service designer** in a squad,
- you are responsible for developing new or improving on products & their end-2-end experience, ensuring the best fit in terms of desirability (people), feasibility (technology), sustainability, and viability (business).
- You will help us turn our biggest, wildest ideas and value proposals into concrete products with long-term viability. You will also be accountable to manage the lifecycles of your existing products and guarantee a sustainable customer experience by following-up on data analytics.
- You will do this at the service and as member of an agile team, that needs to realise the market share ambitions of the company.
- You will follow the “double diamond” or service design methodology to complete your mission. You are the owner of this design process and facilitate all workshops needed to land your perfect value proposal and its execution. You will start out with research, going on to ideation & definition of your value proposal, after which you will prototype and design your end-2-end journey before you deliver an MVP together with the team. This in constant interaction with your user/customer, backing up your assumptions as you go.
- Your objectives are to support the commercial & digital growth, as well as product NPS and product lifecycles, as defined by the IVM tribe you work in.
- You constantly put yourself in the shoes of the customer and are the guardian of the consistency along the journey touch points, being supported and supporting your teammates who are confronted with similar challenges.
Profile
- A first experience in people management and/or coaching.
- 5-7 years’ experience as Product/Service designer or innovation working on a diverse range of products. Having experience in concrete product launches is a must.
- Experience with design thinking, Human-Centered Design, Service blueprinting, Personas, Prototyping,
- Customer Validation, Business Modelling, Value Proposition Canvas, Lean and Agile methodologies.
- Experienced in conducting user research, as well as defining target groups & segmentation.
- Comfortable in facilitating workshops to co-create solutions together with stakeholders of all levels.
- Consumer centric with a strong set of digital skills and data analytic skills. Experience in UX, Behaviour design and/or growth hacking is a plus.
- Experience with digital collaboration tools such as Figjam, Miro or Mural is a plus
- Experience with design tools (like Figma, Sketch or Invision) and/or data analytics platforms (like Qualtrics, MicroStrategy or Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong conceptual mind with strategic thinking & sensemaking.
- Excellent visual & verbal communication skills.
- Open to change attitude, ready to try concepts/approaches/tools for the first time.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, knowing how and when to make decisions or escalate for guidance.
- Role model for the Proximus values and growth mindset.
- Good knowledge of preferably 3 languages
