Dat de ambities groot zijn bij Ravago Logistics Center in Lommel, dat voel je meteen als je er binnenstapt. Met zo’n 40 medewerkers en 60.000 m² beschikbare vloer is onze site te Lommel het grootste Europese Ravago magazijn binnen een grote, internationale groep.
Doel van de functie
Als Operations Manager sta je in voor de aansturing van de dagelijkse bedrijfsactiviteiten. Door deze te stroomlijnen zorg je voor een vlekkeloos verloop op de werkvloer. Je versterkt de brug tussen magazijn, office en andere logistieke afdelingen. Je maakt deel uit van het lokale Management team en rapporteert aan de Site Manager.
Functieomschrijving
- Als operations manager sta je in voor de **planning en coördinatie** van de **dagelijkse magazijnactiviteiten**;
- Je stuurt hierbij een team van **4 Warehouse Coördinatoren** aan;
- Je neemt de leiding in **verander
- en verbeterprojecten**;
- Je waarborgt **procedures en werkprocessen**. Hierbij creëer en beheer je rapportage
- en analyseoplossingen, waarbij je data omzet in bruikbare inzichten;
- Je biedt ondersteuning in het **milieu
- en preventiebeleid** en zorgsystemen (ISO 9001 / 14001)
Jouw achtergrond
- Bachelor of master diploma en enkele jaren relevante ervaring als leidinggevende, met voorkeur in de logistiek
- Je bent een geboren **people manager**, leading by example is your cup of tea
- Je bent **analytisch** en hebt ervaring met **Microsoft Power BI**.
- Excellente **communicatie** en **relaties opbouwen** is jouw tweede natuur
- Je houdt in iedere situatie het hoofd koel en weet het **overzicht **te** bewaren**:
- Je bent **georganiseerd** en **planmatig** sterk
- **Continuous improvement** van de groepsdynamiek en de interne processen geven jou een boost
- Je neemt **ownership** en bent fier op de resultaten die je boekt
- Als een ware kameleon pas je je moeiteloos in alle omstandigheden aan
- Je hebt een goede kennis van de **Nederlandse** en **Engelse** taal
