De risicobeheerders van KBC Groep gebruiken tal van kwantitatieve modellen om financiële risico’s te meten. Word jij hun collega, dan **verbeter je bestaande modellen en ontwikkel je er ook nieuwe.**
Het doel? **Robuuste, efficiënte, transparante risicomodellen** die een antwoord bieden op een snel evoluerende en sterk gereguleerde omgeving. En dat voor verschillende types risico; van marktrisico en kredietrisico tot technische risico’s binnen verzekeringen en operationele risico’s. **Wat verwachten we van jou?**:
- Je bouwt **nieuwe financiële risicomodellen**. Daarbij zet je je kwantitatieve expertise in en verdiep je die steeds verder.
- Kan een bestaand risicomodel beter? Je gebruikt je analytisch vermogen om dat te evalueren en het model te **verbeteren **waar dat kan.
- Samen met je ICT-collega's **implementeer **je de modellen binnen onze risico-infrastructuur.
- Je past statistische technieken toe om **kwantitatieve analyses **uit te voeren.
- Je werkt samen met expert risico-managers om onze modellen in lijn te brengen met **nieuwe inzichten.**:
- Wat je doet, **documenteer **je duidelijk. Je presenteert je werk ook regelmatig aan het senior management.
**Jouw troeven?**:
- Je hebt een relevant **masterdiploma of doctoraat**, bijvoorbeeld in wiskunde, fysica, ingenieurswetenschappen of (toegepaste) economie. Kwantitatieve modellering en analyse boeien je.
- Actief deelnemen aan een discussie? Complexe materie helder verwoorden zonder al te veel vaktermen? Je werk duidelijk documenteren? Dat lukt je vlot in het **Engels**.
- Je hebt ervaring met **programmeren**, bijvoorbeeld in Matlab, Python, R, C++ of Java. Heb je ook ervaring met ML of financiële modellen? Nog beter Maar geen must.
- Net als je collega’s, hou je ervan om doelen te bereiken als **team **en voortdurend bij te leren. Je kijkt ernaar uit om nieuwe -soms complexe
- concepten te leren kennen.
