**Role: Security Engineer**
**Location: Brussels, Belgium**
**Description**:
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising various security projects and operational tasks such as monitoring vulnerabilities and incidents.
You will regularly analyze security systems, detect threats and anticipate them to find solutions. You will help optimize our security environment.
Who are we looking for?
As a Security Engineer you have a broad IT background and a first professional experience in an IT security role.
- You have experience in guiding an IT project from start to completion or knowledge of project methodologies.
- You speak and write Dutch fluently and can express your opinion about new security challenges in a constructive way.
- You have a critical attitude and enjoy working independently as well as sharing your experience and knowledge in the team.
- Furthermore, you are eager to learn and want to continue to grow in the field of IT security through new technologies, larger projects and possibly evolving more towards Governance/Risk/Compliance or towards a role of Security Architect.
