- Operational knowledge of programming languages e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, Python
- Good knowledge of the foundations of vehicle dynamics and simulation tools
- Knowledge of multibody tools is an asset
- Fluent in English (verbal/written), additional European language skills are an asset
- Quick and eager learner with a flexible mind and good eye for details
- Team player with good communication skills

Your team and your responsibilities:
**Team/division description**:
The work tasks to be developed will be held in Chassis Design division.

Chassis Design is responsible for:
1) Development of Chassis systems (Vehicle dynamic control, Brake, Steering, Suspension, Tyre, Shift, Pedals,) to achieve the highest driving performance and quality at the competitive price.

2) Local development of Chassis parts for vehicles built in Toyota’s European assembly plant. This activity is done in close cooperation with local suppliers and Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan.

3) Investigation of new European technologies. We are inspired by the Toyota Way precepts and we challenge to provide final customers with best quality products with the continuous improvement mindset.

**Your Project**

**_ Definition of new vehicle control based on data analytics:_**
- Review of available test data set and analysis
- Extract meaningful statistical results
- Define proposals for new vehicle motion control features
- Validate the hypothesis and impact using the test data

**We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
