**Role Summary**:
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) is the primary point of contact for the customer and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. The position works with the Sales leadership team in driving key initiatives and helping the Flowserve to achieve its goals and maximize sales bookings and opportunity pipelines. The SSR will use data as a strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate planning of sales quota forecasting, and sales productivity reporting and efficiency analysis.

**You will be involved in the following tasks**:

- Work with suppliers and Flowserve facilities to purchase material as defined by the MRP (SAP) system.
- Optimizing and updating the procurement of material volumes in function of the needs of production and the lead times from the suppliers.
- Follow-up of Purchase orders with respect to Critical and Overdue indicators.
- Act as a super user for master data management of the material masters in our SAP system
- Driving negotiations with direct and indirect commodities in line with supplier strategies.
- IT driven integrations by utilization of SAP, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Apps, etc.
- Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Maximize customer experience

**You are the ideal colleague if you have**:

- BS or BA Degree preferably in Business Management, Supply Chain or Logistics) or equivalent by experience
- Experience with customer relationship management
- Communications and negotiations skills by use of analysis and accurate data processes
- Team player with driving spirit to other teams with the aim to achieve maximum efficiency
- Strong analytical skill
- Fluent communication in English and Dutch
- Experience in the collection and analysis of data through Microsoft software and automated flows
- Experience with international sourcing and Supply Chain is a benefit

**Preferred skills**:

- International sourcing or Supply Chain experience
- Industry knowledge related to pumps/rotating equipment
- Experience in Sales Force and ERP administration
- Experience in pricing and contract review
