Context of the mission
The SmartGrid program wishes to strengthen the "GIS" team responsible for setting up new IT solutions.
In this context, the consultant will take on the role of designer of functional solutions adapted to the needs expressed by business as part of the development and maintenance process.
Main tasks
1. Functional analysis and file follow-up:
- Analyze automatable IT processes adapted to business processes.
- Write the functional specifications (use case, activity diagram, sequence diagram, etc.).
- Translate the functional specifications produced into complete test scenarios (step, data, etc.).
- Ensure the transmission of specifications to developers and ensure their understanding.
- Execute the IT integration and performance tests defined in the test scenarios.
- Assist business users in performing their acceptance tests.
- Document the problems detected during the various tests and address them to the developers.
- Monitor the resolution of detected problems and ensure the quality of the correction.

- Provide third-line support to the support team in place.
3. Architecture support:
- Participate in workshops organized by the business or by the IT architect during the preparation phase of a business request.
- Provide the necessary support to the IT architect during the definition/clarification phase of business needs.
5. Literature:
- Completely and clearly document analyzes during development or maintenance activities.
- Transversal -> takes into account both the "why" (business), the "what" (functional) and the "how" (technical) of a given problem
- Logic -> rationally analyzes the information he is working on, creates an overview without losing sight of the details
- Listening and observing -> asks questions and listens in order to capture information, creates relationships between the information received
- Structuring and method -> works step by step, in the method, defines an action plan,
- Creativity and pragmatism -> offers original solutions (outside the box) while remaining realistically achievable
- Curiosity and ability to learn -> interested in new things, quickly understands a new environment, a new job, new tools, etc.
- Spirit of synthesis and communication -> processes a large amount of information and presents it in a clear and summarized way
- Self-monitoring -> checks and corrects the result of his work, questions himself and readjusts his method if necessary
- Proactive and autonomous -> takes charge of the problems it detects without delay and initiative
- Teamwork -> integrates easily into a multidisciplinary team, collaborates with everyone, accepts directives
- Neutral, poised, diplomatic -> seeks compromise when opinions differ
Technical skills:
- Very good with GIS
- Good knowledge of Esri
- Of course very good with CAD
- good with SQl
- French speaker with a good technical English.
