We are looking for a Freelance Digital Content Creator at the intersection of healthcare and social media. You will create engaging, informative, and accessible content in a social-media style to educate patients about medical care paths and empower them to make informed decisions. As a Content Creator, you are responsible for creating and maintaining care path content based on input and requirements from doctors. Using existing medical content, guidelines, and expert input, you will transform complex information into attractive, patient-friendly content. This content can be: - Visual: videos, animated explainers, webinars, illustrations, infographics - Audio & interactive: podcasts, quizzes, polls - Textual: short blogs, articles, visual quotes Profiel What do we expect from you? You would be a great fit for our team if you bring the following qualifications: - A reasonable level of technical proficiency. In-depth expertise is not required, but some configuration elements are technically complex and require an understanding of underlying concepts. - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create structure from large amounts of information. - A good level of English and Dutch (additional languages are a plus). - A background in medical, healthcare, or communication-related fields is a plus. - Proven experience in social media content creation and management. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - A strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes. - Proficiency with social media content creation tools. - A good understanding of how to attract patients and explain information clearly and comprehensively. - Experience working in start-ups or scale-ups is a plus. - Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities - Design content flows and patient care paths. - Develop concise, visually appealing, social-media-style content. - Create content in multiple formats: videos, shorts, animations, illustrations, short blogs, podcasts, articles, etc. - Use patient-friendly language to ensure clarity and accessibility. - Publish and manage content within the application framework. - Translate complex medical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand information. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure alignment with current medical guidelines. - Work closely with AI tools, graphic designers, video editors, and other team members (depending on your skill set). - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups to gather insights and address patient needs. - Work with doctors, legal, and compliance teams to review and approve content before publication. - Use data insights to optimize content strategy and track performance metrics. - Analyze patient questions and information needs and adapt care paths accordingly. - Use technology-driven content to positively influence patient behavior and therapy adherence.
