Are you ready to drive innovation and create impactful IT solutions on a large scale? As an IT Solution Architect at our partner ING, you will design and implement technical solutions that meet organizational needs, guiding projects from concept to completion.
As an IT Solution Architect, you will:
1. Create technical designs for implementing effective solutions tailored to the organization's specific needs.
2. Ensure your technical designs have sufficient granularity for development teams to implement.
3. Guide the implementation during the development and maintenance life cycle phases of IT solutions.
4. Ensure the implemented solution adheres to the technical design and architectural principles.
5. Work within the constraints set by the architecture.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to the DevOps engineering team during development and maintenance.
7. Advise on how to implement the solution, and participate in architectural, design, and implementation discussions.
8. Ensure the implemented solution adheres to design and architectural principles and constraints.
Your impact:
1. Strengthen the technical design and implementation quality of IT Systems;
2. Optimize technology infrastructure, operational efficiency, scalability, reliability and security;
3. Foster collaboration between architecture and engineering disciplines;
4. Ensure seamless alignment between design and implementation and business and architecture;
5. Improve career paths and succession lines from engineers to architecture (and vice versa).

Who are we looking for?
1. At least 5 years of experience in technical design and complex IT project delivery.
2. Strong knowledge of current technologies, IT architecture and application landscapes
3. The ability to interact with business and IT stakeholders, drive changes, and manage dependencies.
4. Skills in defining and aligning roadmaps and conducting assessments.
5. An understanding of both business needs and IT capabilities.
6. The ability to work with diverse teams, including IT Integrators, Product Owners, and Software Engineers.
The following is considered a plus:
1. Experience in a complex large scale IT-environment
2. A genuine interest in the financial sector

This track is designed to equip you with the expertise needed to excel in your chosen role, fostering your growth and ensuring your readiness to tackle complex challenges within the IT-landscape of ING.
