We have strong ambitions for the European market, which is one of the most rapidly growing markets within our Group. Within this context, we are looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager, based in Brussels. This person will be leading a team of three Portfolio Managers / Investment Advisors responsible for covering Belgium residents as well as European and International clients serviced from our Brussels business.
Your mission
- Provide personalized investment support and proactive portfolio management to local clients in alignment with the bank's investment strategy.
- Assist in the growth and development of the local franchise by supporting the relationship management team.
- Manage and strengthen the local discretionary book of business through efficient portfolio management and outstanding client services.
- Implement investment strategy in all client mandates while focusing on fiscally efficient investments.
- Offer personalized investment recommendations and ongoing portfolio monitoring for advisory clients with input from central advisory teams.
- Deliver investment performance reports and proposals to clients and prospects.
- Stay updated on asset allocation, investment strategy, and Belgian fiscally efficient portfolio management.
- Collaborate with the relationship management team covering various jurisdictions, currencies, and risk profiles.
- Contribute actively to investment forums and share best practices within the Client Portfolio Specialists team and Lombard Odier Investment Solution network.
Your profile
- University degree and/or recognized diploma in Investment (CFA/CIIA).
- Experience in discretionary portfolio management at a Private Bank, with experience in advisory portfolio management as a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in asset allocations and portfolio management.
- Strong customer presentation and communication skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset and managerial capabilities.
- Ability to make decisions, adaptability, and autonomy.
- Fluency in French and English required, Dutch language skills would be beneficial.
