We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterology Physician to join our team at VHC Health.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the health system's credentialing and privileging committee.
This role supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level. The physician will support all medical activities at the individual level, including implementation of quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality clinical care to those individuals who have chosen VHC Health in a timely manner to meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, support medical activities and initiatives, and maintain accurate records and documentation. A Doctorate from an Accredited Medical School is required for this position. One year of Medical/Surgical experience is necessary to succeed as a Gastroenterology Physician.
Certifications and Licensure:
Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required. This ensures that our physicians adhere to the highest standards of medical practice.
