Enterprise Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at Atcon Global. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT security operations, managing the activities of the SOC team, and coordinating with security engineers. This includes implementing IT security policies, creating protocols and processes, addressing IT security risks and issues on an organizational and technical level, and coordinating IT security activities.
The role requires a bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years' experience in IT and IT security related matters, preferably in an international environment. An information security professional certification such as CISMP is also desirable.
The selected candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of IT security technologies, including access control, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, web security, anti-malware controls, IDS/IPS, IT networks, and system administration.
This is a challenging role that requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong information security risk-based prioritisation capabilities, and good communication skills.
KPIs
The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and reporting performance metrics, including the level of compliance with information security regulations, standards, and internal policies, the number of information security incidents per severity, average response time on information security incidents per severity, accuracy of threat and vulnerability analysis, number of identified vulnerabilities, and effectiveness of remediation plans and controls for identified vulnerabilities.
Mandatory Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years' experience in IT and IT security related matters, preferably in an international environment. They will also hold an information security professional certification such as CISMP and have good knowledge and understanding of IT security technologies, including access control, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, web security, anti-malware controls, IDS/IPS, IT networks, and system administration.
Key Responsibilities
