**Job Description**
FIRE SAFE EUROPE is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the organisation as its Managing Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading fire safety advocacy group and contribute to shaping the future of fire safety in Europe.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably within a membership-based industry association. A university degree in a related field (communication preferred) and several years of progressive experience are essential.
As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the organisation's program and strategy, representing the association internally and externally, and ensuring effective communication throughout the European arena.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and implementation of FIRE SAFE EUROPE's annual program and supporting actions/projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fire safety in Europe.
- Represent the organisation at key stakeholder meetings and events.
**Requirements**
- University degree in a related field (communication preferred).
- Several years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years' successful experience in a relevant field.
- Experience within a membership-based industry association.
- Technical proficiency necessary to understand job requirements; Fire Safety knowledge is a plus.
