Panda International's Advanced Materials Characterization and Investigations (AMCI) group is seeking a Senior Materials Scientist with expertise in dry powder characterization. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and commercial lifecycle of pharmaceutical products.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced analytical characterization of pharmaceutical products, collaborating with API and Drug Product teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements in pharmaceutical analysis.
Responsibilities- Perform in-depth characterization of particle and powder properties for active ingredients, excipients, drug product intermediates, and solid dosage forms.
- Design, set up, and execute experiments in the lab, ensuring integration of results to meet project deliverables.
- Contribute to internal innovation projects by assessing novel characterization techniques and modeling.
- PhD in Chemical (Bio)Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent by experience.
- Expertise in particle sizing technologies such as Laser Diffraction and Microscopy (Image Analysis).
- Solid knowledge of powder characterization techniques such as powder flow, shear testing, triboelectrification properties, etc.
