Job Description: Chief HR ManagerWe're looking for an experienced HR Manager to become the heartbeat of Planet B. As our first HR Manager, you'll be responsible for nurturing talent, building a thriving culture, and ensuring every team member has what they need to grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with the CEO on workforce planning to align talent strategy with company vision. Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, compensation, and benefits optimization. Guide managers in implementing consistent performance reviews and feedback systems.
- Growth Path Development: Work with managers to create customized growth paths for every team member. Design Personal Development Plans (PDPs) that align employee goals with company objectives. Conduct quarterly check-ins to track progress and adjust growth paths. Develop a framework for promotions, leadership opportunities, and internal transfers.
- Culture & Employee Engagement: Build a cohesive culture across HQ, remote teams, and store locations. Organize team-building activities, workshops, and feedback sessions to drive engagement. Act as a trusted resource for employees to share ideas, feedback, or concerns. Foster a positive environment in our store teams to ensure harmony and motivation.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent locally and remotely. Streamline hiring processes to reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate experience. Design a seamless onboarding program to integrate new hires and set them up for success.
- HR Management & Compliance: Act on all HR responsibilities, including payroll, compliance, and compensation & benefits.
- People-Centric Leader: You have a natural talent for connecting with people and fostering trust.
- Strategic Thinker: You see the big picture and align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Detail-Oriented Organizer: You excel at managing multiple priorities and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Cultural Builder: You create environments where teams feel engaged, valued, and motivated.
- HR Expert: You bring experience in HR management, recruitment, and talent development (experience in international HR is a plus).
