Job Description
The Chief Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly and yearly closings in accordance with Belgian GAAP, IFRS, and corporate policy. This will involve managing a team of accounting experts, preparing statutory accounts, and coordinating tax declarations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of accounting experts to ensure efficient and accurate processing of financial data
- Prepare statutory accounts, including preparation of corporate income tax declarations and calculation of prepayments
- Responsible for tax accounting and IFRS tax reporting
- Monthly closing of the balance sheet and P&L, adhering to strict deadlines
- Calculate and process accruals based on information received from other departments or reporting sources
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in accountancy (master or bachelor)
- Hands-on proven experience of at least 5 years in tax and statutory accounting, preferably in multinational environments
- Fluent speaking/writing in English, French, and Dutch
- Flexible time management and adaptability
