We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to join our team at Tennium. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sponsorships.

About the role:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging your network and industry expertise.
  • Benchmark potential clients to ensure alignment with our industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments to inform your sales strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales work in the region and nationally in coordination with the sales director.
  • Participation in networking events, sporting events, and internal events to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Strong commercial skills and negotiation abilities to secure deals.
  • Slidewriting and presentation skills to create compelling sales documents and pitches.
  • Experience in discussing contracts and commercial clauses with selected legal support.
  • Strong relationship management skills to foster existing client relationships and develop new ones.
  • Sales planning and admin skills to manage sales leads, actionable follow-ups, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in sponsorships sales or hospitality/corporate sales.
  • Client acquisition skills, including excellent communication, engagement, and phone skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English and French language proficiency.
  • Flexibility and availability to travel as needed.
  • Sports enthusiast, tennis especially.
