Nobi is a fast-growing Belgian AgeTech scale-up that has developed a smart lamp capable of detecting falls and preventing them. However, their innovative technology does not stop there. They are keen on growing together with their customers and providing them with the solutions they need to live independently and with dignity.
As a key member of the team, you will lead Nobi's global compliance efforts, ensuring that their processes meet the highest ethical and operational standards. You will report directly to the CTO and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product compliance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, NIS2, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulations
- Conducting risk assessments and developing corrective action plans
- Overseeing internal and external audits
- Providing expert guidance and training to employees on compliance matters
- Developing and implementing processes for reporting and investigating compliance issues
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in product compliance or risk management, ideally within tech or healthcare industries
- Strong knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, NIS2, and/or ISO 27001
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing risks
- Strong communication and leadership skills, able to educate and engage cross-functional teams in compliance matters
