Our product-market fit combines housing, community, and events, expanding across Europe to cities like Antwerp, Brussels, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Warsaw, Krakow, and Riga.
Your Role
As Head of Finance, you will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and the company's overall financial health. Initially, this role will focus on financial controllership, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and operational efficiency.
As we grow, your responsibilities will expand to include strategic financial leadership, such as fundraising, investor relations, and high-level financial planning. You will play a key role in securing capital, managing financial risk, and shaping our long-term business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight & Reporting – Manage financial reporting across all entities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with local regulations. Review and validate transactions to maintain financial integrity.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow models. Provide insights on financial performance to support data-driven decision-making.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Implement internal controls to minimize financial risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Strategic Finance & Growth – Support fundraising efforts by preparing financial models, investor reports, and due diligence materials. Collaborate on capital allocation and long-term financial planning to drive sustainable growth.
- Leadership & Collaboration – Work closely with the founders to shape financial strategy and optimize operations. As the company scales, build and lead a high-performing finance team to support expansion.
Requirements
- Experience & Background – At least 3+ years in finance, accounting, or financial management, with a strong focus on controlling, FP&A, or audit. Experience managing multi-entity financial operations across different jurisdictions is a plus.
- Financial Expertise – Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and tax regulations in Europe. Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, with experience in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking – Ability to analyze financial data, optimize financial processes, and provide strategic insights to support business growth and decision-making.
- Leadership & Collaboration – Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to scale financial operations in a fast-growing startup. Strong communicator, capable of working closely with founders, investors, and stakeholders.
- Growth Potential – Ambition to transition into a CFO role, taking on fundraising, investor relations, and high-level financial planning as the company scales.
- Affinity or experience with the real estate industry.
