We are currently recruiting a Transport Planner to join our logistics team in Belgium.
**Job Purpose:**
As a Transport Planner, you will manage transport planning for mainly Dutch-speaking regions and support other areas in Europe. You will optimize routes, reduce costs, and collaborate with partners to enhance logistics and customer satisfaction across our European operations.
**Responsibilities:**
- You will be responsible for the transport planning of our assets primarily within the Dutch speaking regions, as well as back-up for other regions in Europe.
- You will liaise with our logistical partners and internal stakeholders.
- You will optimize routes and transport, reducing freight spend and carbon footprint.
- You will proactively work towards maximizing our service level, customer satisfaction, and achieving departmental and personal objectives.
**Requirements:**
- You obtained training as an industrial clerk, office management assistant, or acquired equivalent knowledge through experience in a Customer Support position.
- Excellent Dutch skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of any other language is considered a plus.
- You are well organized, and you take care of your administration in a transparent and efficient way.
- You show initiative and have a healthy level of self-confidence.
- You have thorough knowledge of the MS Office applications with a focus on Excel.
