Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to provide technical assistance to end-users with their computer and software issues. The successful candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems reported by users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Provide remote technical support to users.
- Update and maintain software applications.
- Reset passwords and manage user accounts.
- Document technical issues and solutions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on more complex tasks.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Mac and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
