Your Role:
You will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for packaging and chemical commodities across Europe. Your role aligns with our business objectives by driving supply chain optimization while leveraging a strong understanding of market trends, competition, and commodities.
Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional team collaboration to design and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities in Europe.
- Supplier base management to optimize and expand the supplier network, ensuring the right balance of capacity, cost efficiency, and performance.
- RFP process management, contract negotiation, and supplier selection for new projects, aligning with business goals and nomination criteria.
- Regular performance reviews, deviation addressing, and corrective action implementation to foster strong supplier relationships.
- Market trend updates and proactive risk identification and mitigation to ensure a resilient supply chain.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher required; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in packaging and/or chemical sourcing, ideally within a global organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong critical thinking, ethical integrity, teamwork, effective communication, and proven ability to deliver on milestones.
