We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Brussels. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with both local and international teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining financial records and preparing reports
- Providing essential support to senior management in financial decision-making
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You will also be required to assist with the preparation of tax filings, VAT returns, and other regulatory reporting, as well as monitoring and reconciling bank statements and financial discrepancies.
To excel in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is also desirable.
