We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Vivid Resourcing. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, testing, and improvement of automotive components and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical components using CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks)
- Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate designs
- Work with CNC machines, robotic welding systems, and automated assembly lines to enhance precision and production speed
- Support testing teams with vehicle crash tests, durability testing, and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) analysis
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in automotive component design, manufacturing, or testing
- Proficiency with CAD software (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO/TS 16949, Euro NCAP, etc.)
- Fluent in Dutch or English (French is a plus)
