Job Description
This senior appointment is key to leading our work in the area of EU education and employment policy. The successful candidate will help us grow our research and evaluation capability.
The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to develop sound conclusions and policy-relevant recommendations. We expect the successful candidate to have a strong academic background, ideally at PhD level in social sciences, public policy, educational sciences, international relations or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Leading ICF's policy research and evaluation services on education policy.
- Directing projects secured under framework contracts with DG EAC.
- Building our in-house team and wider network of education policy research specialists.
- Providing line management support to team members.
Requirements
- A strong academic background, ideally at PhD level in social sciences, public policy, educational sciences, international relations or a related discipline.
- At least 10-15 years of professional experience in education and/or employment policy within the European context.
- Experience of conducting high quality EU level research and evaluation assignments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop sound conclusions and policy-relevant recommendations.
