The Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Senior System Engineer to join our team, specializing in networking and cloud technology. As a vital member, you will lead the management and maintenance of our telecom platforms for leading mobile operators globally.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Network Planning & Deployment
    • Design, deploy, and manage networks for current and future MVNE projects.
    • Implement and support firewalls/VPNs for secure network connections.
    • Regularly assess network performance and troubleshoot to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Cloud Computing & AWS Expertise
    • Design and implement cloud services focused on AWS, adhering to industry best practices.
    • Provide leadership and strategic guidance on AWS/cloud matters within the team.
  • Security Policy Enforcement
    • Develop, implement, and enforce robust security policies and procedures.
    • Conduct comprehensive security audits and assessments (internal and external).
    • Translate customer security requirements into clear, actionable technical configurations.
  • Platform Maintenance & Enhancement
    • Manage and maintain telecom platforms for leading mobile operators, ensuring high availability and scalability.
    • Develop expertise in Pareteum's proprietary software to enhance platform capabilities.
    • Collaborate extensively with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and SQL Server, for infrastructure needs.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
    • Train and mentor junior system engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote team growth.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in network design and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and related protocols, as well as hands-on experience with configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.

You should be familiar with cloud architecture and best practices, particularly within AWS environments, and have a solid understanding of security policies, guidelines, and frameworks to ensure compliance. Additionally, you should be able to convert security requirements into precise technical configurations for secure operations.
