About the RoleWe seek a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in guiding our organization in setting up a SaaS platform for our Enterprise Imaging application.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications primarily on AWS.
- Effectively document and communicate design decisions.
- Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraForm.
- Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure using a combination of traditional EC2 instances and EKS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure best practices in cloud security, cost management, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the cloud environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with AWS services.
- Proven expertise in TerraForm and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Competence with SW Version Control systems and processes.
- Experience with automated deployment methods (CI/CD).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and SaaS models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
