Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Expert to join our team. As a senior consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their SAM challenges and provide expert advice on software license optimization, compliance, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SAM current state assessments and software license optimization reviews for various clients
- Analyze complex software license agreements and deployments to obtain license positions for multiple software vendors
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize software licenses and reduce costs for clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and service offerings
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree or equivalent by experience
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience in large IT organizations
- Prior working knowledge of IBM licensing and major software license providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and VMWare
- Experience with market-leading SAM tools including Flexera, ServiceNow, or Snow
- Broad interest in business processes and project-based working environments
- Clients-focused attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills
