About the JobYou will be part of the connectors team within the R&D department, developing and maintaining connectors that feed our EMAsphere platform with external data sources (accounting systems, CRM, ERP, etc.) coming from thousands of our customers in a cloud architecture.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing data and data structures to understand the data and data models of third-party systems, and finding ways to extract and transform them into our canonical models.
- Developing new connectors to retrieve data from third-party systems (through APIs, Databases, Files, etc.), transform that data into our data model, and inject it into our reporting platform.
- Maintaining existing connectors by providing level-2 support, evolving, and assisting with others.
- Participating in architectural evolutions by suggesting improvements to our infrastructure, connector architecture, and technological stack.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
- 0 to 3 years of experience with Java development.
- Fluency in French or Dutch, with a good level of English.
- Good knowledge of Java programming language, Spring ecosystem; Kotlin is an asset.
- HTTP protocol is an asset.
- Security: Authentication, PKI and Certificates, SSO (OAuth, SAML, etc.)
- RESTful/SOAP web services is an asset.
- SQL language, Relational Model is an asset.
- Data representation such as XML and JSON.
- Collaboration & automation tools (GIT, Maven/Gradle, JIRA, Notion, CI/CD, etc.) is an asset.
- Cloud technologies (AWS S3, RDS, Aurora, Kubernetes, MQ, etc.) is an asset.
