About ACT | The App Association

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our team as an EU Tech Policy Expert. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology policy issues and their impact on small businesses and innovators.
The role requires excellent research and writing skills, as well as strong knowledge of legislative processes in the EU and the UK. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic international team and will work closely with policymakers, trade associations, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyse policy developments affecting the digital industry in Europe.
- Draft regulatory filings, letters, and policy documents on behalf of the association.
- Represent the association in meetings with government officials, business coalitions, and public events.
- Engage with key policy stakeholders, including trade associations, companies, and civil society organisations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in legal, public policy, government affairs, or advocacy roles.
- Strong research and writing skills, with experience in analysing regulation and drafting policy documents.
- Familiarity with EU and UK legislative processes, or experience working with EU or UK policymakers.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to think strategically and handle multiple tasks effectively.
