Over DP World DP World is een toonaangevende logistieke dienstverlener, met hoofdkantoor in Dubai. Ons wereldwijde netwerk omvat havens en terminals, logistieke parken en economische zones. In de Haven van Antwerpen baat DP World aan het Deurganckdok één van de grootste containerterminals uit. Hier worden gigantische containerschepen geladen en gelost, en is het een komen en gaan van vrachtwagens, treinen en binnenschepen die containers aan- en afvoeren van en naar het hinterland. Wij zetten een indrukwekkend machinepark van hoogtechnologische kranen, straddle carriers en ander rollend materieel in. Maar het zijn in de eerste plaats onze medewerkers die het verschil maken dankzij hun zorg voor veiligheid, efficiëntie en samenwerking. Functieomschrijving Jouw taken De rol van Manager Rolling Equipment & Welding omvat volgende taken: Aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van een team van technische specialisten Optimaliseren van processen, werkmethodes en systemen met als doel minimale stilstand tijden en verhoogde productiviteit van het equipment Opmaak en bewaking van het jaarlijkse onderhoudsbudget Waarborgen van de veiligheid van eigen medewerkers en externe contractors Onderhouden van nauwe contacten met interne afdelingen en externe partijen Je rapporteert aan de Director Engineering & Facilities Als Manager Rolling Equipment & Welding ben je verantwoordelijk voor het volledige onderhoud en beheer van al het rollend materieel binnen onze havenactiviteiten – denk aan terminaltrekkers, straddle carriers, reachstackers, heftrucks en meer. Je stuurt een team aan van 5 foremannen en bent eindverantwoordelijke voor de dagelijkse werking van een technisch team van een 30-tal techniekers. Jij weet als geen ander hoe je hen motiveert, ondersteunt en professioneel aanstuurt. Je hebt voeling met de werkvloer , spreekt de taal van vakmensen en zorgt voor een veilige, efficiënte en mensgerichte werkomgeving. Tegelijk ben je ook de motor achter het optimaliseren van de onderhoudsprocessen . Je werkt aan lange termijnplannen, KPI's, preventief onderhoud en het verder digitaliseren en structureren van de onderhoudsafdeling. Je rapporteert aan de Technical Director en werkt nauw samen met andere afdelingen zoals Operations, Planning & Reliability, Automation, HSSE, .. . Profiel Je beschikt over een bachelor of master diploma in Elektromechanica, Elektrotechniek, Onderhoudstechnologie en kan 8 tot 10 jaar relevante technische ervaring voorleggen van zwaar mobiel materieel Je communiceert helder, je bent gedreven en sterk gericht op samenwerking en motiveren van mensen Je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands en het Engels, dit zowel gesproken als geschreven Je bent steeds op zoek naar verbeteringen en stelt continu bestaande processen in vraag Je bent sterk in het plannen, organiseren en opvolgen van de werkzaamheden en bent hands-on waar nodig Je draagt veiligheid hoog in het vaandel Aanbod .
