We are excited to announce the development of three new cutting-edge units at Port Jérôme, France, covering the full production cycle: a fermentation plant transforming glucose into lactic acid, a polymerization unit producing PLA, and a molecular recycling facility dedicated to giving new life to PLA.

These state-of-the-art facilities will have a production capacity of 75,000 tons of PLA per year, supported by a €500 million investment.

As we expand our team in Brussels, we’re looking for visionary professionals to lead and drive this ambitious project.

Open Position: Equipment Engineer Functieomschrijving You will be actively involved in the design, development, procurement, and supervision of the installation of industrial equipment such as pumps, tanks, and other systems commonly used in the chemical industry.

Your role will ensure that all installations comply with safety standards, are cost-effective, and leverage cutting-edge technologies that support Futerro’s innovative production processes and business activities.

Main tasks : Work closely with the engineering team, customers and partners to ensure all requirements are met.

Participate in management of the entire industrial chemical machinery design and building processes.
