Group Workday Senior Manager

A global leader in chemicals and food ingredient distribution, based in Antwerp, is currently seeking a Freelance Group Workday Senior Manager to join their team. In this role, you will lead the strategic direction and optimize the Workday HRIS system across the global organization. You will work to align Workday solutions with business goals, drive system innovation, and lead transformative projects.
Key responsibilities of the Freelance Group Workday Senior Manager:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Define and implement the Workday roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Position Workday as a critical driver of organizational success through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the design and execution of complex Workday projects, with a primary focus on Workday Peakon.
- Redesign HR processes, configurations, and integrations with legacy systems.
- Manage system upgrades, new module rollouts, and other HRIS initiatives.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide hands-on support and advisory for key Workday modules: Reporting, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, and Peakon.
- Troubleshoot and implement solutions for system improvements.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Workday team.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and foster a results-driven team culture.
Key qualifications of the Freelance Group Workday Senior Manager for this role:
- Proven expertise in Workday implementation and optimization & technical proficiency in Workday modules.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex, large-scale projects.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
